Set Up & Use the Find My App on iPhone
Q: A client asked, "Can I track my own phone and my wife's phone using my iPhone?"
A: E-men answered, Yes. The official tool for this is the built-in Find My app. It comes pre-installed on every iPhone—no download required.

Step 1: Turn on "Find My" on Your iPhone
Open the Settings app (the gear icon).
Tap your name at the very top of the screen.
Tap Find My.
Tap Find My iPhone, then switch the toggle to ON (it will turn green).
Step 2: Turn on "Find My" on Your Wife's iPhone
Open the Settings app on your wife's iPhone.
Tap her name at the top.
Tap Find My.
Tap Find My iPhone and switch the toggle to ON.
Step 3: Share Locations Between Both Phones
On your phone, open the Find My app (the icon looks like a green radar circle).
Tap the People tab at the bottom left.
Tap the + (plus sign) or tap Start Sharing Location.
Type in your wife's phone number or contact name and press Send.
Choose Share Indefinitely so you can always see it.
On your wife's phone, a notification will pop up. Tap Accept, and choose Share Indefinitely to share her location back with you.
How to Find the Phones if They Are Lost
Open the Find My app on your phone.
To find your wife's phone: Tap the People tab and tap her name to see her phone on the map.
To find your own phone: Look at the map on your wife's phone under the People tab, or log into iCloud.com/find on any computer web browser using your Apple ID and password.
